I don't know how you can draw something like that on the train; doesn't the stopping, and the jerking motions make it hard for you to draw? :-)
I did do a little of that once a few months back when I was on the A going to the Cloisters. It wasn't fun as I had to keep erasing lines whenever my pencil went off its mark as the train stopped.
